Industry-specialized solution Instead of a generic customer service ai platform, one that exclusively serves your industry (ie retail, healthcare, logistics, banking, etc) It’s not flashy it’s just the key 🔐 The common theme across nearly all success stories in customer support AI today There are just too many too complicated workflows and integrations required, that just so happen to be 80% similar to companies in your industry...so choose a vendor who already has them out-of-the-box

    Just flew in from Bali then flew straight to Kustomer's CX Now and CommerceNext's Post-Purchase Forum. Jet lag is real, but it was worth it to meet some new friends and reconnect with others in the space. See Brian Schiff giving "the best pitch of the day" below. Here's what stuck with me: ⚡AI is developing ridiculously fast -- progress is made in weeks and months now. Something that felt new a few months ago is already old news. Adopting AI fast and well is non-negotiable. 🛠️Don't build everything from scratch -- leave it to specialists to build the solutions you need -- you heard it directly from Jillian S. herself of Anthropic). 📦Post-purchase matters more than ever -- CAC keeps going up (~40% increase) , so fostering customer loyalty and focusing on the post-purchase experience has become a strategic priority. LTV:CAC is the new focus 💬 The human touch is essential — We still want human interactions but only when the experience is good. (I was on the phone with my internet provider for 2.5h to update my account, and that wasn't the human interaction that I needed. - When AI handles the routine stuff, you can keep your team smaller and more specialized and well-trained. When customers do reach a human, they're getting someone who's really good at solving complex problems. Love the perspective here Rebecca Blount (Coterie) 📱Gen Z is different -- They shop and interact completely differently, and they're becoming a much bigger slice of the market. You can't just apply the same strategies that worked before. Things are moving fast. The brands keeping up are the ones willing to adapt quickly.
