KPMG US marked Community Impact Day yesterday as part of Global #ValuesWeek, with teams coming together to bring our values of Together and For Better to life across their communities. #MakeTheDifference
If you want to see KPMG at its best, show up on Community Impact Day. I spent time this morning volunteering with Canine Companions to support the training of service dogs who will go on to change lives. What a humbling and inspiring experience to be a part of alongside dozens of professionals at Lakehouse - and a few wagging tails that absolutely made the day. That sense of purpose and momentum carried across the firm. Today and this week, our people will roll up their sleeves as One KPMG, enthusiastically supporting more than 400 nonprofit organizations through hundreds of volunteer opportunities. The sea of KPMG blue - at schools, parks, shelters, food banks and more - is our values in action. And seeing our people show up with generosity, humor, and real care - for each other and for the communities we serve - is one of the things I’m most proud of at KPMG. Community Impact Day is energizing because it’s real. It’s hands-on. It brings us together in ways that remind me why I’m so proud to be part of this firm. Thank you to everyone who helped make it possible - and to all our colleagues who showed up ready to make a difference. When we come together like this, the impact speaks for itself.
