HRC together serve as America's largest civil rights organization working to achieve LGBTQ equality.
About us
The Human Rights Campaign serve as America's largest civil rights organization working to achieve lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer equality. By inspiring and engaging individuals and communities, HRC strives to end discrimination against LGBTQ people and realize a world that achieves fundamental fairness and equality for all. The Human Rights Campaign envisions a world where lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer people are ensured equality and embraced as full members of society at home, at work and in every community. The Human Rights Campaign and Human Rights Campaign Foundation exists to create a world where lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ+) people in all of our intersecting identities realize systemic equality, equity and liberation in all aspects of life. We approach everything we do through a lens of inclusion and racial equity because our work cannot be completed until the most marginalized members of the LGBTQ+ community have achieved equality. Through the values we live day-to-day, our benefits package, as well as a hybrid work environment, we hope you will become a part of this movement. Are YOU ready to change the world? Some of our benefit offerings include: - 3 weeks of vacation initially, 4 personal days, and 12 sick leave days per year with additional leave for all federal holidays - Access to health, dental, vision, FSA, HSA, and life insurance - Mental health partnerships - Fertility and adoption coverage with some HRC-provided yearly funds - Pet Insurance - Hybrid Work Environment (2 days in the office and 3 days work from home) - Tuition Reimbursement - the full amount allowed by the federal government each year - Great opportunities for professional and personal development

Donald Trump and congressional Republicans are playing politics with your food. By withholding SNAP funding, Trump will take food off the table for over 41 million Americans, including roughly 2.1 million LGBTQ+ people. Don’t be fooled by their lies: They CAN fund November’s SNAP benefits and negotiate to reopen the government. Congress needs to hear how their inaction will hurt you. Advocating for yourself at the doctor’s office can be tough — especially if you are intersex. Intersex people and people with variations in sex characteristics face numerous barriers when seeking healthcare, including stigma, discrimination, and undereducated providers. It's time to improve communication between intersex people and their healthcare providers. This Intersex Awareness Week, we’re proud to share the new Patient Self-Advocacy Toolkit for Intersex People and People with Variations in Sex Characteristics, launched by @interACT_Adv. The Self-Advocacy Toolkit helps intersex people prepare for healthcare visits, communicate their needs, and advocate for safe, respectful, and compassionate care. Another day, another lie. Millions of Americans, including nearly one-fourth of LGBTQ+ people, rely on SNAP to put food on the table. Yet, the Trump administration is using the USDA website to blame trans people for the upcoming freeze of SNAP funding. We will not be scapegoated by Republicans as they continue to prioritize Donald Trump over their constituents. Take action NOW: https://lnkd.in/eR8dx6wV

“Inclusion isn’t optional — it’s the heartbeat of our profession.” “As the Trump administration wages an aggressive intimidation campaign to dismantle diversity, equity and inclusion across government, education, and the private sector, [the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM)] leadership has wavered. “When the largest HR membership organization in the world begins to distance itself from inclusion under the guise of ‘civility’ or ‘nonpartisanship,’ it sends a chilling message to those of us doing this work every day. Read more from RaShawn Hawkins, SHRM-CP, Senior Director of Workplace Equality at the Human Rights Campaign Foundation, on why HR professionals must stand strong in the face of attacks on diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts: https://lnkd.in/e4uA3wFr
