I made a promise when I joined Notion: Get our median desktop cold-start under 1s. We did it this week after 9 major optimizations and fixing 5 major regressions. Next, I want to focus on improving all interaction latency and make the desktop app feels light. More to come.

There’s something special about seeing a campaign you’ve worked on appear on the streets of your own city. This is the final week of Think Together in Berlin and Munich. Beyond the posters, projections and city moments, what I’ll remember most is the teamwork behind it. There are plenty of things I’m very happy to hand over to AI. The blank page. The search for that one piece of information I know exists somewhere in my slack / notion / mail. Organising my thoughts and creating the first draft or taking meeting notes. Please take them all. But I never want AI to replace my team. They’re the reason this campaign made it here. A huge shoutout to Rusty Van Riper and Huy Vu, who brought Think Together to life and helped take it global. To Áine Dundas and Yasuko Murai Quinn, who helped me pivot for DACH. And to the Munich team, without whom the office would feel very lonely. AI can help us move faster. But it’s the team that gives the work meaning. #ThinkTogether #Notion
