For this project I merged two worlds I deeply admire: the Orca boat from Spielberg’s classic film and the elegance of 1930s Art Deco travel posters. The result: a piece that pays tribute to cinema, design history, and editorial illustration. We´re very excited to share my collaboration with Printed In Blood for their new JAWS Art Book. For this project, I created an illustration inspired by vintage Art Deco cruise posters, reimagining the iconic film through a design lens. The artwork was crafted entirely in Adobe Illustrator, using the Mezzo textures by DKNG to achieve a tactile, screen-printed feel that connects with the retro essence of the piece. It’s a true honor to see this work published alongside an amazing lineup of international artists, all celebrating Spielberg’s classic. From sketch to market: designing enamel pins inspired by The Monster Squad (1987). This project started as a personal challenge: translating cult 80s horror into enamel pin collectibles. I began sketching the characters in Procreate with a symmetry guide, then vectorized, colored, and rendered them in Illustrator to create production-ready artwork. My focus was not only on fan art, but on developing a product concept: a set that could live in the horror merchandise market while showcasing how illustration, design, and storytelling merge into tangible pieces.
