  • As a product built on stories, Everand has a soft spot for wordplay, but when it comes to games, our favorite is MONOPOLY®. 🎲 Everand is proud to be an official prize sponsor in the iconic MONOPOLY® Game at McDonald's, returning after nine years! Here’s what you could win:    📚 A prize of 12 months free of Everand Standard, giving a lucky reader access to great stories all year long.   📚 We're also offering a Property Perk! Players who collect 24 property pieces can get a reward code for a 3-unlock, 30-day Everand trial so millions of players can discover their next favorite read or listen on us.    We’re thrilled to bring the joy of reading into one of the world’s most nostalgic games. Whether you’re playing for the fries or the fiction, we’re here for it!. Learn more about the game and prizes: PLAYATMCD.COM

Everand’s Fall Reading Report is an insider's look into what our readers can’t put down this season! Here’s what’s trending: 🎥 The Blockbuster effect: Page-to-screen titles are surging in popularity. 🌱 Self-Help season incoming? Personal growth ebooks are topping saves lists. 💘 Romantasy rules: The Empyrean series continues to dominate the charts. 👻 Mystery is hot for spooky season, and one author is topping the charts this year. See what our readers are diving into on Everand: https://lnkd.in/gDN-JVqN Tell us... what's on your spooky season TBR list?

  • Last week, the Everand team popped up in Raleigh, North Carolina to host Café Everand, a community pop-up where book lovers and authors came together to share stories, swap book recs, and celebrate the start of cozy season!   📚 Local authors Tia Levings, Amy R., Travis Mulhauser, Lovell Holder, and Judy Allen Dodson shared their stories and what inspired them.   📗 Folks found corners to relax, read solo, and chat about shared book picks. 💛 Attendees connected with WAKE Up and Read, a local nonprofit dedicated to improving early childhood literacy. 💐 Guests got creative with a build-your-own fall bouquet station, and an interactive wall for trading fall book recs. Moments like these remind us that reading isn’t just something you do— it’s somewhere you belong.

  • Hack Week at Scribd, Inc. isn’t just for engineers- it’s for everyone. Our 2025 theme, Mind + Machine, posed a simple question: what happens when humans team up with intelligent tools, not as gimmicks or add-ons, but as real partners? The results were dramatic. Nearly two-thirds of our employees—from every hub city, function, and level—came together to imagine, build, and experiment on 57 projects in just five days! Some may become features our readers love, others are reshaping how we work– but all showed how AI can amplify what makes us human: our ingenuity, our creativity, our spark. Congratulations to the winners in our five categories: 🎮 Ways of Working Award – Hima Kiran Alladi and his team shipped a practical, useful internal tool. 🎨 Creativity Award – Harrison Ilonze and his team built a suite of imaginative projects to boost reader joy! ⚙️ Technical Award – This category was a tie, as Benton Wong and Tyler Croy each led teams that showed off impressive technical work with game-changing potential. 🌟 Cross-Functional Award – Noah Tuller and Nadeen Saleh co-led a team displaying the power of collaboration, building customer facing tools with real pizazz. 🏆 Impact Award – Allison R. Littman and her team reached an incredible level of polish in just a week, giving a glimpse into a powerful synergy between two of our brands.

  • Our Scribd Inc. employees don’t just bring brains and heart to the table– they bring a healthy dose of competitive spirit too. That comes out in full stride during our annual Step Into Summer wellbeing challenge, where employees race (well, walk, bike, dance, paddle, and move) their way to the top of the leaderboard. 👟 This year, 50 participants collectively logged an incredible 10.98 million steps in just 22 days. That’s enough steps to trek from our San Francisco HQ all the way to our coworkers in Amsterdam... if only the Atlantic Ocean had a pedestrian bridge! Here’s to friendly competition, stronger connections, and keeping wellness in motion. Congrats to our top 3 steppers: 🥇 1st place Andre T. 🥈 2nd place Harrison Anderson 🥉 3rd place Angela Hsieh

  • Fable– the newest member of the Scribd Inc. family– is a home for readers to discover books and find community in shared stories. One of Fable’s coolest features is the ability to track your reading stats, and this July, Fable users powered past an exciting milestone: more than 100,000 people now have an active 50 day reading streak! Not only that, but 62,000 are over 100 days, and 15,000 are above the incredible 200 day mark! Reading daily, even for just a few minutes at a time, is one of the healthiest habits you can get into– and today’s a great day to start (or continue!) your newest reading streak! 📚

  • One way our Employee Resource Groups at Scribd, Inc drive impact is by turning shared values into action. The Caregivers ERG– an employee community for working parents, guardians, and caregivers of all types– recently hosted its 5th annual Backpack Drive at Scribd’s SF office. Volunteers packed 30 backpacks with school supplies for local students from kindergarten through high school, helping families in need gear up for the school year. It’s a small gesture with lasting impact– and a reminder that supporting caregivers means supporting entire communities. Thank you Ling, Adam, Evelyn, Angela, Marissa, Hilla, Noah, Emily, Jaya, and Harrison for packing bags, and to everyone who made a donation!
