I want to make a recommendation for the best new AI tool I’ve used - it’s completely changed how I work. I barely type anymore. Seriously. Everyone should use this!! I've written extensively about my love for Voice to Text - this tool does better than any. Willow Voice AI - is super simple and super fast. Hit CTRL (or any hot key of your chocei), talk, let go, and less than a second later your text appears like magic. This is what it should be like. I'm a big fan of removing steps and friction at every stage, this does it perfectly. It gives you control of the style of formatting, writing and punctuation - and even has an 'Assistant' which enables you to tell it how to recreate or change some text - or give it general directions on an email to write and it will do the rest. It will even translate for you. It just enables me to click a button and just think out loud; get all my thoughts down, transcribed, and then you can tell it how to reformat or polish it up. Personally, I’ve found that going straight to the source (ChatGPT or Claude) and focusing on better prompting gives me 90% of the value without the clutter or cost of yet another tool. When I had a stroke in February, I had to make several adjustments to see me through my recovery. One of them was my sudden inability to touch-type, as I had been doing for decades. Fortunately, I discovered that voice-to-text technology has improved to the point where it is now a very useful tool. However, the native Apple voice-to-text capability, whilst quite good, wasn't quite as quick or accurate as I would like. Enter Willow Voice (Willow), which I recently discovered. Wow, what a revelation. It is so much quicker and so much more accurate than my experience with other solutions. (And it's multilingual.) Even though my stroke recovery is going well, I'm beginning to wonder if I will ever bother to touch type again since Willow is so much quicker and encourages me to use my natural speaking style, which we know is a big plus in marketing, business and life in general. I rarely promote products or services in open forums like this, but I am happy to on this occasion because of how good Willow Voice is.
