Last week, we brought together an intimate group of security leaders, where Upwind Security CISO & CSO Rinki Sethi sat down with Joe Sullivan for a fireside chat about leadership, pressure, and what resilience really looks like when the stakes are high. 🔥 Joe brings a perspective few people in cybersecurity can. He began his career as the first federal prosecutor in Silicon Valley dedicated full-time to cybercrime and later led security at Facebook, Uber, and Cloudflare. Over the years, he has seen cybersecurity from the courtroom, the boardroom, and some of the most challenging moments a security leader can face. Thank you to Joe for sharing so openly, to Rinki for leading such a thoughtful conversation, and to everyone who came out and spent the evening with us. We love creating space for conversations like these, where security leaders can learn from people who have been there, share openly, and learn from one another. ❤️

A lot of energy at AWS Tel Aviv this week, with the booth buzzing from start to finish ⚡ We spent the day meeting cloud and security teams, sharing more about Upwind Security, and talking about how organizations are thinking about security as AI becomes a bigger part of their environments. Cloud incidents rarely stay contained to one tool, system, or data source. A suspicious process can start inside a workload, connect to an external host, involve a cloud identity, change Kubernetes state, and trigger API activity along the way. Blue Agent follows that trail 💙 It pulls together runtime, network, Kubernetes, API, and cloud evidence, connects the activity across those layers, and produces a verdict with supporting evidence and a confidence level. Upwind just landed in Microsoft Sentinel 🏄♂️ Now available through Microsoft Marketplace and the Microsoft Security Store, the integration brings Upwind cloud security data directly into Sentinel. SOC teams can now: • Investigate cloud threats alongside the rest of their security telemetry • Query Upwind data with KQL • Build detections, workbooks, and playbooks • Prioritize vulnerabilities with cloud context • Monitor posture and compliance from the same place Less jumping between tools.
