We're proud to be named to the Rising in Cyber 2026 list of the 30 most promising private cybersecurity companies, voted on by the people actually deciding what to adopt: 150 active CISOs and senior security executives. The recognition was released alongside a report from Notable Capital and Morgan Stanley that maps where enterprise security is heading. The findings are striking: 71% of organizations already have AI agents in production, but only 11% say they have mature tooling to secure those workloads. That's the problem we're here to solve.

"Governance is what we say we do. Culture is what really happens when the crisis hits." Dan Bowden is the Global CISO at Marsh - protecting 90,000+ employees across 130+ countries. But here's what makes his perspective different from most CISOs: His employer is also the world's largest insurance broker. He sees thousands of real breach outcomes - how organizations are evaluated, where they fall short, and what separates the ones that recover from the ones that don't. In this episode of The Watchtower, Dan shares with Ash Hunt: - Why the "best effort" era is over and what's replacing it - The insurance-target myth - and what the data actually shows - How to turn your broker relationship into a genuine security multiplier - What MFA really means in 2026 (hint: having it isn't enough anymore) The standard for preparedness is being rewritten. Tune in to keep up. 🍎 Apple Podcasts: https://lnkd.in/ezapE2Zy 🎧 Spotify: https://lnkd.in/ehuPa5-r 📺 YouTube: https://lnkd.in/ezzcyKk4

Cyera is building for the world's largest enterprises. At that scale, leadership decisions shape everything. That's why we're proud to welcome Steffan Tomlinson to Cyera's Board of Directors. Steffan has spent the last two decades leading companies through high-stakes moments: rapid growth, public market transitions, and the hard work of getting risk right at enterprise scale. He's lived the challenges we're solving from the inside, navigating security, technology, and financial accountability in complex environments. We're excited to have him bring that perspective to Cyera as we continue to build the platform enterprises trust to secure their data in the age of AI.

AI threats move fast, leaving security teams with little time to react. AI finds and shares sensitive data at scale that don’t wait for alerts or reviews. And data exposure occurs before anyone has a chance to step in. That’s exactly why Cyera built AI Guardian...to prevent data risk and leaks before they happen, so enterprises can feel confident in their AI adoption without slowing it down. Stop reacting after the fact and start securing AI in real time: https://lnkd.in/eKzesuWC

Cyera Research has uncovered a CVSS 9.1 vulnerability in Ollama, the leading platform for local LLM inference. This is a critical unauthenticated memory leak that puts your AI data at immediate risk. The Threat: An attacker can use three simple API calls to force Ollama to "bleed" its heap memory. This allows them to remotely steal: ➡️ Private Conversations: User prompts and chat histories. ➡️ Secrets: Environment variables, API keys, and tokens. ➡️ Intellectual Property: Proprietary code and system prompts. The Impact: With ~300,000 Ollama instances exposed to the internet and no authentication by default, this is broadly exploitable. If you use Ollama as a shared internal assistant or with developer tools like Claude Code, your data plane is open. Bottom line: Enterprises are bringing AI in-house to ensure privacy, but that privacy is only as strong as the infrastructure hosting it. When the inference engine is vulnerable, the data you're trying to protect becomes the easiest target. True AI security requires more than just a local instance. It requires full visibility into what data is being shared, where it lives, and how it’s being protected across your entire AI stack. The next era of data loss prevention isn't about catching more. It's about knowing more. That's the argument Software Analyst Cyber Research and Lawrence Pingree make in "The Great DLP Reset." DLP is undergoing a major architectural transformation: from pervasive regex and fixed chokepoints to a data control plane built on discovery-led classification, identity context, and enforcement across SaaS, endpoints, browsers, and AI. For DLP and SOC teams, that means trading ticket factories for high-fidelity signal prioritization and automated incident response. That’s why we built a truth layer for data security programs. Cyera acts as the "brain over the stack" that improves time-to-triage and policy confidence by adding data sensitivity and access context. Read the full report here: https://lnkd.in/eJNrjHe4
