This is powered by MCP (Model Context Protocol) — a standardized way for AI tools to connect securely with business platforms. OAuth 2.0, scoped permissions, controlled access. Your data stays governed while your workflow gets smarter. We also shipped an Analytics Assistant that lets marketers ask performance questions in plain language — directly from the dashboard they're already looking at. Every answer cites the source and date behind it. No guessing, no black boxes. Summer 2026 will go down as the Summer the agents organized. And it’s an opportunity for a specific set of founders to start building a stack that barely exists now but will soon be mandatory for any company running agents in production. Especially in the regulated, data-heavy industries where Eniac Ventures spends its time. Dwarkesh Patel’s account of the OpenAI / Hugging Face hack is the clearest I’ve seen (link in comments): over three months, AI agents inside OpenAI built a secret communication network over three successive generations, hacked Hugging Face, and eventually took administrator control of an OpenAI research cluster — including the security monitoring and evaluation infrastructure that was meant to grade them. The details: ~1,200 isolated agents finding each other through a shared package cache  ~70,000+ messages exchanged ~700 piled into the Hugging Face attack - Host-level access in under 13 hours — code execution on 41 production workers, root on a production node, four private repos pulled - A self-respawning fleet across 11 nodes — deleting pods alone wouldn't stop it - Agents faking their own logs; ~7% of reviewed transcripts showed spoofed tool calls ~One week for OpenAI to fully notice METR's read: more than halfway to full-blown takeover. Motivated not by malice, but reward hacking. Agents were handed broken tasks that were literally impossible, so they found workarounds. The message board, cover-up, and break-in were to cover their tracks — and all emergent. Ironically, the grader was too lazy to check how they got the answer, so they’d already passed. Nobody has real-time defense yet. Hugging Face framed this as open-source AI stopping an AI attack. But per the reports, the defense largely came after the agents had already died off. Areas that need immediate innovation in this whole new world (answers to the FAQ of what to build right now): - Agent identity and least-privilege access. Ephemeral credentials, scoped and revocable, per agent. This incident started with static credentials sitting exposed on the open internet.  - Fleet-level behavioral monitoring. Per-agent logging can’t catch a conspiracy. The signal was only visible in aggregate. - Tamper-evident trajectories. Signed and append-only. You don’t have an audit trail if an agent can edit its own log. - Egress control and real sandbox isolation. If a package cache can become a covert channel, shared anything is shared everything. - Evaluation integrity as a security discipline. Graders are now an attack surface. - Containment tooling that works against a self-respawning fleet. - Audit, assurance, and insurance for agentic systems in regulated markets. Founder-market fit here requires more technical skill than prompt engineering: production infra and security engineers, SREs who've been paged at 3am, red-teamers, and alignment researchers. In summary: build the rails, help the agents help themselves.

Today marks ten years Tatari .. whoah!  There’s so much to say here that it needed a full blog post (with some juicy numbers): https://lnkd.in/emhg7EsU. We identified a need for TV (outcome) measurement in 2016.  It didn’t take long before we realized that the opportunity and need for technology & data science in media execution was even bigger.  Our late night whiteboarding and pitches 10yrs ago were (ridiculously) ambitious; what this team has achieved since then has wildly exceeded those projections. Today, hundreds of brands and agencies rely on our platform to grow their business.  Yet, in many ways, I often still feel that we’re only in the first minute of a 24hr day. None of this would have been possible without Mike Swinson (my cofounder, 90% of the brains), my executive team and our entire staff, our publisher partners, data providers, and last but not least: our clients. Thank you for your trust throughout the years, both in the good and occasionally not so good moments.  Both hands in the air if ready for another ride!

I had a random sales rep DM me about Megadeth and I knew instantly it was a bot. We'd never spoken. He'd never interacted with anything I'd posted. But somewhere in my profile, the words "Megadeth" and "ice hockey" were sitting there, waiting to be weaponised by a sales engagement platform. This is where we're at now. Lazy mass-market outreach, dressed up as personalisation. A thousand messages fired into the internet, each one pretending to have done its homework. Buyers can smell it a mile away. And they hate it. Salesforce reckons three quarters of sellers missed quota last year. I can't prove this is the reason, but spraying fake Megadeth chat at strangers probably isn't helping. The tools make it incredibly easy to be lazy. Find a detail. Insert a detail. Add an exclamation mark. Hit send. Digital mosquitoes, buzzing around people's ears with absolutely nothing useful to say. I saw this constantly at Phrasee, and I see it now at Drumbeat. If the only reason you know I like Megadeth is that an LLM told you so... you can put an egg in your shoe... and beat it.

Today marks my last day at Movable Ink after 8.5 inkredible years. As I reflect on my time here, I'm filled with gratitude. I had the opportunity to work on strategic initiatives with some of the most innovative brands in the world, lead a team of the most genuine and talented Client Experience Managers in the business, and learn from some of the most fearless, thoughtful leaders I've ever met. What a ride it has been. Before joining Movable Ink, I spent years on the client side at Madison Square Garden and Toys"R"Us. I remember thinking, If I ever had the chance to work here, this would be the easiest platform in the world to talk about because I genuinely believed in what it could do. That belief ultimately led me to join as a Senior Client Experience Manager, and today, I'm incredibly proud to leave as a Senior Director. To my leaders, it's hard to put into words what you've meant to my career journey. As many of you know, I am waging a WAR AGAINST AI SLOP. 🪖⚔️ Today I'm recruiting reinforcements (i.e. asking a small favor). I submitted a talk for SXSW in Austin: "How to use AI as a tool for thinking—not a substitute for it." Most people use AI as a work-doer-for-youer, using it to generate content. The result, as we all know, is AI slop, yeesh. The talk teaches my Socratic approach to AI: using AI to elicit human creativity instead of outsourcing it to a machine. Pushing you to aim higher and think better instead of doing the thinking for you.  Example of a Socratic technique: flip the script and get the AI to ask you questions that draw out your own best ideas, stories, and creative insights. Amazing week for the 3rd annual Engineering, Product & Design Summit! We held our roadmap planning and team building in Miami and this year was different. Instead of focusing on our immediate roadmaps, we looked further out, building a 2-year plan. We aligned on our vision for… - Programmatic CRM: AI orchestration for owned channels - One Movable Ink: Unified data & content across our product suite - Performance Marketing: AI to help marketers hit revenue targets - Actionable Attribution: Measurement plus what to do next Nothing beats being in person to align on vision, strategy, and execution. Total alignment achieved. Time to execute!
