note: Use cold-type spark plug in summer to prevent engine overheating and detonation and Use hot-type spark plug in winter to prevent spark plug fouling.

Spark plug Gap : 0.7 mm - 0.8 mm
Spark Plug Tightening Turns : 1/2 or 180° for new spark plug and 1/8 or 45° turn for used spark plug

Engine idle speed : 1400 Rpm ± 100 Rpm

Recommended engine oil viscosity: 10w-40 , 4T
SAE Grade: API SG , JASO MA
Engine oil quantity : 850ml
after oil filter change: 950ml
After overhauling engine : 1300ml
Oil Change Interval : 2000 - 4000km or earlier ( depends on riding conditions and engine oil type )
Note: use only quality synthetic engine oil for more than 2000km
Change oil filter after : 2000 - 3000km
Note: When replacing both the engine oil and the oil filter element together, pour 950 milliliters of engine oil into the engine. If only the engine oil is being changed without replacing the oil filter element, pour 850 milliliters of engine oil into the engine. This quantity ensures adequate lubrication and proper functioning of the engine components.

Clean Air filter Every :2000km or less
Note :
To effectively clean and maintain your air filter, follow these steps:

-
Begin by soaking the air filter in a mixture of water and dishwashing gel. This solution helps to loosen and remove dirt and debris from the filter.
-
Clean the air filter by hand, ensuring thorough scrubbing to remove any remaining contaminants from all surfaces.
-
Once the air filter appears clean, rinse it thoroughly with clean water to remove any traces of soap residue.
-
Use a clean towel to gently pat the air filter dry, removing excess moisture.
-
Place the air filter in a well-ventilated area or under sunlight for approximately 4 to 12 hours to allow it to completely dry.
-
After the air filter is fully dry, apply 6 to 8 milliliters of gear oil evenly onto the air filter. Ensure that the oil is spread evenly across the entire surface of the filter.
-
Finally, reinstall the air filter into the air filter box, making sure it is properly seated and secured.
-

By following these steps, you can effectively clean and maintain your air filter, ensuring optimal performance and longevity of your motorcycle's engine.

Recommended Gear oil for air filter : SAE 80/90
Gear Oil Quantity : 6 - 8 ml
Clutch Lever Free play : 10 mm - 20 mm
Throttle Cable Free play : 2 - 4 mm

Note: Before securing the spark plug, hand-tighten it to ensure proper alignment. Then, using a spark plug wrench, turn the spark plug half a rotation to the right. After this initial tightening, gently loosen the plug before carefully tightening it again, this time by 1/8 of a turn or approximately 45°. This process is crucial for properly seating the spark plug gasket in the head, ensuring a secure fit.

Warning: The torque values provided are specific to the Suzuki GS150 spark plug. Always refer to your motorcycle's owner's manual to determine the correct torque specifications for your spark plug to avoid damage or improper installation.
