Set in a time when the mighty Roman Empire emerged to conquer the known world against powerful enemies, when gladiators fought to a bloody death in the Coliseum; when Spartacus defied the might of the empire; when Hannibal led his invincible army and his war elephants across the Alps to strike fear into the very heart of Rome itself; and when Julius Caesar finally smashed the Barbarian Gauls. This was a time of brutal confrontation between civilisation and barbarism, and of civil war as the ancient world's only superpower turned on itself.

I am Lady Amalasuntha of Nemedia. And I want to tell you about what you will see in the latest update of the project "Crown of Aquilonia" - "The Roar of Lion".
Let's start with the geopolitical situation.
Aquilonia is in a civil war. Father Dexitus, a former ally of Nemedia and now the ecclesiastical head of the Mithraic Council, excommunicated King Numedides the Cruel from the church. A Rokod (global act of disobedience) was declared against the king.

At the head of the rebels is the northman Conan, a mighty and courageous commander of the Aquilonian mercenaries. Duke Trocero de Poitain intends to declare him king, and his word will be embodied in reality. The Church leaders agree with Trocero. But they are very strict about rules and traditions. Conan must prove his will to be a king.
Evil and old Numedides refuses to give up, intending to crush the rebellion and bring the entire Church underhis control. The country is ruined, broken, destroyed. There is blood and dead bodies everywhere.

You, my young knight, are need to take control of the forces of Conan the Barbarian (this handsome and strong Cimmerian mercenary) and, with the help of the Church, achieve victory, remove the intolerable Numedides from the throne and become king. But the path of the king is thorny and dangerous.
Conan and his Poitain bodyguards
Let me remind you that I am from Nemedia, and our king, being the Son of Dragons, is angry with the situation in Aquilonia. Most likely, he will not recognize Conan as king and will start a new war.
Our king is already close to pacifying the northerners and defeating the Ophir army. If he does this, nothing will stop his march on Aquilonia.
You, my knight, have a difficult road ahead.
But I am sure that you will cope. And it will be you who will lead Conan to royal power. Conan .... or Father Dexitus, who also craves power over Aquilonia. The Clergy of this country have always played an important role.
Geopoliticial situation in Aquilonia
If you are confident of your victory, boldly take control of Conan the Barbarian and his army. With the help of the army from Poitain, Tanasul and Ganderland, you will achieve victory by eliminating Numedides. You will be assisted by the clergy and the forces of Argos.
But if you want to see the conflict from the other side, you can take Father Dexitus and become the ruler of Aquilonia yourself.
The choice is only yours.

hello ! please ,how i can add music/soundtrack in the game(i not will change /mod the game just add my own music in game,how i can add this please :) ?
If I had to rate the Roman Factions in Rome Total War from easiest to hardest it would be
(1) The House of Julii
(2) The House of Brutii
(3) The House of Scipii
Well, with my new mod you can kiss FOUR roman factions good bye and HEELLLLO, to the Etruscans and the new Republic.
Also need help to change some units texture, simple color change
Take a look in "descr_strat". You can change settlements owners at the start of the game. Also could you give me "campaign_script" ?
The Rome Total War mods have language voices for the factions or will they be the usual ones?
This game made me thracian fanboy.Anyway, are you recommending good mod with Thracian faction as main protagonist ?

Amazing mod. But got some problems at windows 10. i know... windows 10 is the problem..
when I save the game, it is immediately terminated. game is still saved.
when i want wo take a look at the cities on battlemap, game also terminated.
Edit: After restart, game can be save and it doesnt terminated. everthing cool.
just the battlemaps for cities dosnt work.
what mod?
