Mid Journey Al And Art By Susan Corbell

What is art? Frankly, that’s a question that I think many people have asked for a long time.
Mid Journey Al And Art By Susan Corbell

Of course, more people have been asking since the emergence of AI art-generating software like Midjourney AI. However, many others are simply wondering what AI art-generating software does and why it is so controversial. Hopefully, this article will answer some of those questions.

First and foremost, art is truly in the eye of the beholder. As an artist myself, even though I’ve seen some things that make me question the art claim, I truly believe that no one can tell another person what makes something art – as long as no one is harmed. If you see something that someone else created and it makes you feel or think, and you see it as art, it’s art. Don’t let anyone tell you that it isn’t. Now, on to what AI art-generating software is all about. AI stands for Artificial Intelligence. The basic idea behind the software is that it has been fed a mountain of knowledge about different kinds of art and artists and some of the underlying information (word definitions, for example) that would be needed to describe the world. So it’s sitting there filled with all of this knowledge, and we can type in a request for it to create a piece of visual art based on our description.
