Manga is basically the Japanese equivalent of what you might know as comic books. They have a very unique style which has developed over many years. We hope here you can learn to appreciate the art that is manga and become an avid manga fan!
This week's poll was suggested by Viki.kdrama. There's a whole lot of types of romantic relationships out there. It's impossible to list all of them in a poll, but which of the options is what you like to read the most?

Half, half almost won exactly half the votes
We're done with the trope-related polls. This week's poll was suggested by Masae. Do you often try to analyze the story and break down its themes? Or you rather just turn off your brain and not think about meaning? Or maybe most series just aren't that sophisticated and the themes are just obvious and/or barebones.

People like umbrellas more than fireworks
Another classic scene in manga is a confession (or kiss or other love scene) while looking at fireworks. Do you like those?

The people in the comments mostly liked this trope (especially if done well)
Maybe not quite a trope, but many romance series have a chapter where 2 people need to pretend to be in a relationship. What are your feelings about that? It's a different trope altogether where it turns into an actual relationship. Then you have Rent-A-Girlfriend.

This week's trope poll is a classic: the love triangle. Got any opinions?

This week we are asking about your opinion for tsundere. Maybe you like reading it but wouldn't like to live it... (although the poll is specifically about manga, not real life)

This was our most popular trope so far!
Do you like it when opposites attract? Maybe it's the beautiful princess loving the plain peasant. Or the serious cop gets teamed up with the silly copy. Or sensitive with the serious.

More popular than tournament arc, less popular than training arc
Many series have a beach arc or a small set of chapters that take place at the beach. Gotta cater to fan service, right? Do you like those?

Looks like it's one of the more popular tropes!
Closely associated with the tournament arc is the training arc. Most movies will just do a training montage (like the animated Mulan), but what about a whole arc dedicated to just training for something?
