The Bank Space is a special space debuting in Mario Party 2. Any player who passes it pays five coins to the Bank, or any coins they have. If a player lands on the space, they receive nearly every coin from the bank deposit. It is usually next to the Koopa Bank.

The function of the Bank Space was integrated into the Koopa Bank Capsule in Mario Party 5.

History[edit]

Mario Party 2[edit]

The board Bowser Land of Mario Party 2 is nearly the opposite, as the Bowser Bank forcefully loans five coins to any players who pass by. Any player who lands on a Bank Space is forced to repay the entire loan, but if the player is unable to, they lose a Star before the loan resets to zero.

Mario Party 3[edit]

There is a case in Mario Party 3 where swapping spaces with a player who is on a Bank Space allows the user to withdraw from the Bank Space. The game also adds the Koopa Kard, which allows a player to receive every coin from a Bank Space.
