Charlie Day (born February 9, 1976) is an American actor, writer, and producer best known for his starring role as Charlie Kelly in the TV series It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. He has also appeared in films such as Pacific Rim and Horrible Bosses and provided voice acting for the animated films Monsters University, The Lego Movie, and The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part, the last two of which he co-starred in with Chris Pratt.

Day voices Luigi in The Super Mario Bros. Movie and The Super Mario Galaxy Movie. Regarding his role in the first film, Day stated on a 2022 episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live! that he was completely unaware of the film's script as he was recording Luigi's lines, jokingly claiming that there would be "two guys with overalls and hammers" outside the recording booth threatening to kneecap him and break his neck if he publicly divulged details of his role.[2]
