Golf Clinic

The Golf Clinic in the Game Boy Color game.

The Golf Clinic is an area in both the Game Boy Color version of Mario Golf and Mario Golf: Advance Tour. It is essentially a driving range with two lakes, two greens (one with the flagpole), three sand traps, and multiple hills. There are four coaches, two of which will judge the player's shot. The player must hit a perfect shot or else the shot will not be judged because it is not the player's best. The player also cannot change the impact point of the shot or it, too, will be rejected. However, the player is able to use power shots although they do not affect the judged shot, and in Advance Tour, they can add topspin or backspin. Putts are considered mishits and are not judged. The sign outside the clinic reads: "Come have your swing examined!".
