Species Toads with irregularities

Imposter Toads are Toads that exclusively appear in various activity books themed to the Super Mario franchise. They are sent out by Bowser in an attempt to take over the Mushroom Kingdom. They all have visual irregularities that the normal Toads do not have.

Imposter Toads first appear in the "Spot the Imposter" activity in the Super Mario Official Sticker Book, where Bowser hides four of them throughout the kingdom. One is a red Toad with a blue shoe, another is a yellow Toad with a blue vest, another is a blue Toad with a spot missing on the center of his head, and the final one is a purple Toad with a blue outline on its vest. The reader is tasked with finding them on the pages.

The blue Toad with the missing spot returns in the "Toad Trouble!" activity in Super Mario: Mario Time! Just like in the imposter Toads' last appearance, the reader has to find them to prevent Bowser's plot.
