Joy is one of four vibes in Super Princess Peach.

For Princess Peach, Joy can be activated by touching the orange Heart Panel. It allows Peach to fly if the player presses A Button, often required to reach high areas. However, if the player releases the button, Peach also creates a tornado which dispels air and allows obstacles like clouds and huge water spouts to be overcome, as well as windmills to be spun. Joy, like the other vibes, has an advantage for defeating enemies. This vibe effect also plays fast music in a happy higher tone.

Several enemies are affected by the Joy vibe, including Red Koopas, Red Paratroopas, Bob-ombs, Parabombs, Piranha Plants, Bloopers, Torpedo Teds, Fangs, and Ptooies. Three bosses have the ability to manipulate the Joy vibe: Hoo, Blizzaurus, and Bowser.
