- “I have been waiting in line for the restroom for eternity! Allowest me in, or rain shalt fall, if thou catchest my drift!”
- —Marbi, Super Paper Mario
Marbi is a Nimbi residing in The Overthere in Super Paper Mario. He can be found near the restroom of Sector 6 after Chapter 7 is completed, waiting for Yebbi to come out of the restroom so that he can use it. Though he says he was frozen, he is never seen this way in-game.
Hacking the game reveals that this oddity is due to the fact that Marbi is actually intended to be the same character as Janbi, as Janbi shares dialogue with Marbi and vice-versa. Combining the two's dialogue makes a much more coherent set of events, but this detail was lost during the game's development. The resulting story of this combination is that Janbi being stuck in ice is the reason that "Marbi" complains about being frozen and having to use the bathroom. [1]
Tattle[edit]
- "That's Marbi... This Nimbi is waiting for the bathroom... He's uncomfortable, antsy, and feels like he might just explode... Don't stand too close..."
Naming[edit]
"Marbi" is a portmanteau of March and Nimbi.
