Playing Hooky is a microgame in WarioWare: Smooth Moves. It is in the Wario stage and is later found in the Tiny Wario stage.

Gameplay[edit]

The player uses the Wii Remote to control a hook. The player must hook Wario on the floor and bring him up.

  • 1st level difficulty: The person is either facing forwards or sideways and does not move.
  • 2nd level difficulty: Same as Level 1, but the loop is smaller.
  • 3rd level difficulty: The person is moving.

Naming[edit]

The name is a pun on the phrase "playing hooky", meaning avoiding school or work, and the hook present in the microgame.
