Sprout

Sprout is a member of the Blockafeller species in Yoshi's Crafted World. Unlike the other members, he has a small plant sprout on his head (hence his name) as opposed to a full flower and has a smaller body than other Blockafellers (being about the size of his head), suggesting he may be much younger than the other Blockafellers. His Japanese name supports him being younger than the other Blockafellers. He is one of the four members of the Blockafeller species to be named.

Sprout appears in every level of the game (except for boss levels) after beating the final boss in the level The Great King Bowser, where he hosts his own minigame called "Hide-and-Seek." In each level, he is hidden somewhere and Yoshi has to throw an egg at him to find him. In Hidden Hills, Sprout appears once the player has cleared the level once. Once the player finds Sprout in all 43 levels, they earn the Blockafeller costume.

Poochy's Tape Trail		Found at the second checkpoint, in the background on a box, next to a yellow-faced sheep.
Go-Go Yoshi		Found on a high billboard that the Go-Go Yoshi must punch while jumping. He can be found in both the front side and flip side.
Mine-Cart Cave		Found in the top of a tall, purple rock after a large set of waterfalls after the first checkpoint.
Whistlestop Rails		Found on the left of two crates that are right next to the first checkpoint.
Mousers and Magnets		After the first checkpoint, hidden between brown paper boxes with white markings on them. This is in front of the "Yo'ster Cookies Hearts" sign.
Spring Sprung Trail		Found in a yellow tulip in the background shortly after the first Check Point, before the area with the rolling platforms and Monty Moles.
Monty-Mole-B-Gone		Found on a slanted brick in the background, shortly after the pot with the Monty Moles having a 10 Coin.
Dino Smash		Found at the spot with the bridge of dirt blocks, near the fourth Smiley Flower. Yoshi must ground pound the bridge to find him partially buried in the sand.
Skelesaurus Wrecks		Found at the very end of the level, after the Skelesaurus falls in the pit. He is partially buried in the sand, at the side of the pit.
Stitched Together		Near the beginning, at the spot where a Shy Guy sits in front of a Winged Cloud, found in the background partially behind a bush.
Poochy's Sweet Run		Found in the foreground, behind two gumdrops, at the spot Poochy first appears.
Yoshi Pulls Some Strings		Found peeking from behind a slope at the start of the second area behind a wall pulled down by with yellow string.
Altitude Adjustment		Found at the end of the level, directly behind the Fat Guy piloting the airship.
Poochy's Magma Run		Found at the trail of coins Yoshi rides Poochy through, right when the Tap-Taps appear. Sprout appears in a pile of bones made of paper.
Windward Way		Found below a slope and can be hit from the spot with the red Time Cloud.
Spinwheel Shuffle		Found at the area with the downward-moving Paddle Platform, peeking from an opening in the wall.
Haunted Maker Mansion		After the first checkpoint, behind the door in the second mansion area.
Hoop-Jump Hop		Found behind a slope just before the spot with the two moving hoops, after a drum with a Juggling Heyho.
Weighing Acorns		Spotted in a tree in the first lift section's background.
Jumping to Victory		Seen in the background, in a hole in the cinder block, just after the fourth Smiley Flower, in the area with the party ball scale.
Bombs Away on Pirate Island		Seen on a rock in the background, in the cove, at the location of the first Ukiki climbing up a rope.
Slip-Slide Isle		Seen in the background, behind two pink blocks in the shape of a cake, near the start of the level, at the location of the first Egg Block.
Deceptive Doors		Seen sitting on a block, behind the first set of sliding doors, just after the first checkpoint.
Behind the Shoji		Hidden behind the blocks, at the start of the section crowded with coins and the fourth Smiley Flower.
The Shogun's Castle		Spotted sideways on the right wall, once Yoshi encounters the first Bushydo.
Exploring the Animal Kingdom		Spotted nearby the area with the balloons the Rhinono falls through into the hidden compartment.
Hoppin' Higher		In the second hopping frog area, just before the first checkpoint, below a stack of hopping frogs, in the foreground.
Jungle Tour Challenge		Blending in near the first Smiley Flower at the start of the waterfall section.
The Countdown Begins		Close in the background, atop a rail behind the middle crusher, behind the first set of three crusher cans lifted up and dropped by magnets, close to the start of the space station portion.
Ride the Stars		On the ring on the lonely planet, where the seventh Smiley Flower and the Spirited Star are also found.
Space-Hub Hubbub		In the middle of the location with five Cybos and the Winged Cloud containing the third Smiley Flower, before entering the background and reaching the second checkpoint.
Ride the River		In the background, near a hammock, a tent, and some trees, after the second checkpoint.
Open, Shut!		To the left, behind a very small, white picket fence, into the foreground, where the second Time Cloud is, just before the second checkpoint.
Solar Zoom		Seen sitting on the left side of the tracks, on a roll of tape, after Yoshi clears the first ramp.
Be Afraid of the Dark		On the right side of the hole, near the start of the level, where the first Bunmawashi Doll is. Yoshi must have the doll burst through the building, revealing Sprout's location.
Skulking Around		In the background, in the window of the rocket exhibit, to the very right of the first section.
Mr. Geary's Factory		Found in the center of a cog dipped in lava, once Yoshi returns to the foreground.
Rough Rolling		Found at the very end of the level, on the same surface as the goal.
Under Siege		Spotted in a hole in a window, symmetrical to the present box. Once Yoshi gets off the long magnet, he should hop onto the left magnet to find Sprout.
Floppin' and Poppin'		Found at the very beginning of the level, to the left of where Yoshi starts out.

• Sprout, like the rest of the Blockafellers, is always sitting upright whenever the player searches for him, except in the Shogun's Castle where he is sideways and upside a wall, likely in reference to its ninja-themed setting.
