World Coin-5, or Coin Courses-5, is the fifth level in the multiplayer-exclusive Coin Courses in New Super Mario Bros. U and its Nintendo Switch port. It is located in Sparkling Waters and is given a difficulty rating of three stars.

Layout[edit]

The players start out in an area with coins, two wooden platforms, and a Warp Pipe. Through the Warp Pipe is an underwater area, where a Giant Clam with a 1-Up Mushroom in its mouth can be found on a platform. The players will then find four Warp Pipes and a ? Block, along with a Dragoneel. Some Warp Pipes that blow bubbles can be found, and then a Roulette Block can be found between two Warp Pipes. Three more Warp Pipes can be seen blowing bubbles, and the Checkpoint Flag can be found after them. A second Roulette Block can be found before an area with three Giant Clams. A third Roulette Block can be found above a current that pulls the player into a pit. A Warp Pipe that leads outside can be found at the end of the underwater area. Koopa Troopas on wooden platforms can be found, along with the Goal Pole.
