Leadership at The MBTA
The MBTA is overseen by the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority Board of Directors. Phillip Eng is the Interim MassDOT Secretary and MBTA General Manager.
MBTA Board of Directors
The MBTA Board of Directors consists of nine members, including the Secretary of Transportation, one person appointed by the Mayor of the City of Boston, one person to be appointed by the MBTA Advisory Board, and six persons appointed by the Governor.
