A Mindomo Gantt chart is not a separate file. The mind map, the outline and the Gantt chart are three views of one document, so dates, owners and progress stay on the topics when you switch.

Project scheduling software that does the date arithmetic for you. Link tasks with four dependency types. When a task moves, every task after it moves too, in working time.

  1. Four dependency types

    Finish to start, start to start, finish to finish and start to finish. Drag from a bar's handle to link it, and change the type on the link's badge. Loops and duplicate links are refused.

  2. Auto-scheduling

    Move, resize or re-date a task and its successors shift forward through the whole chain, keeping their durations in working time.

  3. Links between phases

    Link a phase or summary task like any other task. Moving a phase slides everything inside it.

  4. Critical path

    Turn it on and a red ring marks the tasks that decide the end date. It is calculated in working time, phases included.

  5. Milestones

    Give a task a duration of zero and it becomes a diamond on the timeline.

    Drag the knob on a bar, use the slider or type a number. Phases calculate their progress from their subtasks.

    Assign more than one person to a task, including people who don't have a Mindomo account.
