Viva and GMA Films' "Of All The Things", the comeback movie of
supposedly box-office tandem of Aga Muhlach and Regine Velasquez, has
earned P14.52-million during its first 5 days in the box-office,
according to BoxOfficeMojo.com.
That can be considered a box-office disappointment 'coz it stars Aga
and Regine, whose last movie together "Pangako Ikaw Lang" gave them Box Office King and Queen titles.
But that over 10 years ago, and obviously, their loveteam has already lost the box-office charm.
"Of All The Things" 5-day total is much lower than the 5-day grosses of Aga Muhlach's films in the last 5 years, such as "A Love Story" which had P68.02M, "When Love Begins", P40.76M, and "In The Name Of Love", with P47.31M.
Regal Films' "Pridyider" on one hand is also struggling in the
Philippine box-office with only P4.88M in 10 days. The horror movie stars Andi Eigenmann and JM De Guzman.
Meanwhile, Star Cinema's "The Mistress" is still performing well and
now has a total gross of P230.99M in 3 weeks and is now the 4th highest-grossing Filipino film of all time. It might end up 2nd after this week.
It's also now the highest-grossing film of stars John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo, and even of director Olive Lamasan. - www.mykiru.ph
