Day 1: Fundamentals of AUTOSAR OS
- Overview of AUTOSAR OS (OSEK/VDX based).
- Classification of task types and priority levels.
- Mechanisms for task scheduling and preemption.
- Management of events, shared resources, and alarms.
- Practical application: Setting up tasks and scheduling scenarios.
Day 2: Advanced OS Concepts
- Handling hooks, interrupts, and ISR management.
- Time management strategies and counter usage.
- Addressing multi-core considerations within the OS.
- Practical application: Developing a small-scale application using AUTOSAR OS.
Day 3: The AUTOSAR COM Stack
- Detailed look at the COM Stack architecture.
- Interactions with the PDU Router (PDUR), Interface Layer (IF), and Transceiver Driver.
- Distinctions between Signal-based and PDU-based communication.
- Examination of communication protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet).
- Practical application: Configuring and simulating signal/PDU communication.
Day 4 (Optional/Advanced Scenarios):
- Integrating OS and COM components in a demonstration ECU project.
- Techniques for troubleshooting and resolving communication issues.
- Comprehensive lab work combining OS tasks with the COM Stack.
