SaveEcoBot is an independent public system that reports on the background radiation level in Ukraine. The information is collected automatically from various sources, including government monitoring systems, public sensors, commercial devices, and others. All data is published on the map without verification. However, these data require additional verification from government authorities for decision-making purposes. Therefore, if the readings on any station on our map increase, they cannot be the sole source of information about radiation levels.
It is important to remember that only government authorities have the right to declare emergencies or other extraordinary situations. Official sources such as the State Nuclear Regulatory Inspectorate, the State Emergency Service, and national, and local authorities should communicate all further civil protection measures.
If you notice any unusual changes in the readings, please inform us.
Take care of yourself and stay level-headed!

The Institute for the Study of War (ISW) is an American nonprofit research group and think tank that publishes daily assessments of the war in Ukraine.
ISW updates its interactive map regularly and shows control of terrain where possible. Our system collects this data and displays it as an additional layer.
Please keep in mind that this layer is analytical and should not be considered an official government map.
The SaveEcoBot fire layer shows current possible fire hotspots in Ukraine over the past 24 hours. The data comes from NASA FIRMS based on MODIS and VIIRS satellite observations.
The information is updated hourly. These are indicative data: in some cases, the system can also detect other sources of heat, such as industrial facilities or open burning.
This layer supports a simple mode and a time-based mode, where hotspots are additionally colored by detection age.
If you notice an error or strange data in the fire layer, please let us know.
This layer shows the direction and strength of the wind at a height of 10 meters above the ground. The data comes from weather models and helps assess smoke transport, fire spread, and environmental conditions.
The information is updated regularly depending on the provider. Please note that this is modeled weather data, not a direct measurement, so local differences are possible.
If you notice an error or strange data on the map, please write to us.
The air quality map shows how clean or polluted the air is in different regions of Ukraine. Data comes from state monitoring stations, as well as from public, private and commercial sensors, combined in a single SaveEcoBot system. This allows you to see a broad picture of the air condition in a mode close to real-time.
By default, the Air Quality Index (AQI) calculated using the NowCast (US EPA) method for PM2.5 is displayed. PM2.5 is small solid particles with a diameter of less than 2.5 micrometers. They are formed, in particular, as a result of fuel combustion, industrial processes, transport and even household stoves. These particles are the most dangerous to health, as they can penetrate deep into the lungs and enter the bloodstream.
The NowCast AQI PM2.5 index translates pollution levels into an understandable scale of levels:
• 0–50 - Good Level, safe for everyone;
• 51–100 - Moderate Level, acceptable;
• 101–150 - Unhealthy Level for sensitive groups (children, elderly people, people with respiratory diseases);
• 151–200 - Unhealthy Level for everyone;
• 201–300 - Very Unhealthy Level;
• 301+ - Hazardous Level.
Indicators can fluctuate throughout the day depending on weather, traffic or local emissions. That is why the NowCast methodology takes into account the last twelve hours of measurements, but with priority over the last few to better reflect the situation right now.
If desired, you can switch the map display to raw data, that is, those that come directly from the sensors: PM2.5, PM10, CO, NO₂, O₃ and others. This is useful for more detailed analysis and research.
SaveEcoBot makes this data available to everyone - so that everyone can better understand what we breathe.
If you notice an error or strange values, please let us know. This will help make the system more accurate and convenient for all users.
