Drivers of vehicles must hold the relevant State, appropriate class drivers licence. Records of such are to be maintained by the payroll department. 3.2 Drivers must have a sound knowledge of the vehicle they are required to drive. 3.3 Drivers of vehicles must drive in accordance with state legislation and road and traffic conditions. 3.4 If the vehicle is found to be faulty, then it must be reported to the supervisor immediately, and recorded in the vehicle log book. 3.5 The vehicle must be inspected on a daily basis as per the Vehicle Log Book. 3.6 The log book must remain with the vehicle and be available for inspection at all times. 3.7 When the log book is full it must be forwarded to the Safety Coordinator and a replacement log book provided. 3.8 All faults identified with the vehicle that may impact on the safe operation must be rectified before further use.
