The core values of the Department of Education (DepEd) are being God-fearing, people-oriented, environmentally-conscious, and patriotic. DepEd's vision is for Filipinos to passionately love their country and have the values and skills to reach their full potential and contribute to nation-building. As a learner-centered institution, DepEd continuously improves itself to better serve stakeholders. Its mission is to protect every Filipino's right to quality, equitable, culture-based education where students learn in a supportive environment, teachers facilitate learning, administrators ensure support for learning, and families and communities share responsibility for developing lifelong learners.

- Students learn in a child-friendly, gender-sensitive, safe, and motivating
environment
- Teachers facilitate learning and constantly nurture every learner
- Administrators and staff, as stewards of the institution, ensure an enabling and
supportive environment for effective learning to happen
- Family, community, and other stakeholders are actively engaged and share
responsibility for developing life-long learners
