Isaac newton a famed
mathematician and
scientist
He was born Christmas Day 1642 near
Lincolnshire, England
Isaac Newton
Isaac Newton was born Christmas Day, 1642 and is widely
credited with prestigious honors in math, science, and even
dabbled in history. His extreme intellect helped influence
modern society and views on the word itself. However
Newton was a premature baby and was not expected of
greatness. After a failed try at farming to be like his deceased
father, he continued schooling and went to universities such
as Cambridge, Trinity college, and kings school. However
with his Great discoveries, fame, and wealth, he died in
London alone never married March 31,1727.
Mathematic achievements
Newton had shown brilliance in math at a young
age, and is believed to have taken geometry,
because of his study of quadrature curves which
entails him resolving issues with curvature, because
he was also studying and improving optics. He also
contributed "inverse method of fluxion" which is a
term derived from Latin that entails what we now
know as calculus. Newtons mathematic
accomplishments all happened in the late 1600's
Scientific achievements
Newton is a renowned scientist and is credited with
prestigious honors in the scientific community.
According to the well known story, the Apple that fell
from the tree inspired Newtons theory of gravity. He
also formed the foundation of mechanics which is the
science of orbital motion as well as a force controlling
solar bodies. Newton also experimented with chemistry
and studied the nature of chemicals. His curiosity grew
even further to chemical make up of substances. All of
newtons scientific discoveries came about from the late
1600's to early 1700's with the publication of his work.
