Culture of the Roaring 20s


Books, and all art, are heavily influenced by the culture that they were created in. In order to
truly understand the authors intent, you have to first understand the authors culture. In a small
group you will be researching one of the seven categories: economy, politics, fashion,
entertainment, sports, technology, and the arts. For this project you will gather sources, create a
ThingLink, and present your topic.
1. Find credible sources and gain an understanding of your topic. Gather your
sources into a Google document that is shared with all of your group members.
2. After you have gathered a few sources, one person in the group can start creating
the ThingLink.
3. After you have finished gathering sources and creating sources identify the most
important information about your topic, and create an outline for your presentation on the
Google doc. The presentation should be around five minutes long, and every member
should have speaking time.

____/2 Background of Thinglink is aesthetically pleasing, and there is a text box explaining its
relevance.
____/6 Sources are reliable and pertinent.
Includes: at least 3 websites, at least 4 photos, and no more than 2 videos.
Presentation:
