To Whom It May Concern:
I am pleased to write a letter of recommendation on behalf of Tori Stanley.
She was a student teacher in my 2nd grade classroom for six weeks beginning
January 4, 2016 and ending February 12, 2016. During that time I am sure I learned
as much from her as she had from me.
Tori worked in a professional manner and conducted herself well. She took
her student teaching experience seriously, showing concern for the students in her
care. She went above and beyond the necessary requirements of a student teacher
to insure all students received the appropriate guidance and teaching that would
best benefit them.
Her concern for the students is commendable and she consistently
researched to come up with new and exciting ways of teaching them. Toris
strengths shine in her ability to find new ways of teaching that would interest the
most students. She came up with several interventions for academics and behavior.
She truly cared about the students she worked with and wanted to help them
succeed.
Tori did well with classroom management, choosing to use positive
reinforcement over negative. She did well in managing and following through with
the expectations she had set in place. Her willingness to learn and grow through her
experiences helped improve her teaching and enriched the lives of the students.
I truly enjoyed working with Tory and would highly recommend her for any
position she may be interested in within the teaching profession.
