I am very pleased to write you to recommend Lily Harding for a teaching position in your district.
Lily was a novice teacher in our classroom during the fall semester of the 2018-2019 school
year. Her positive personality is infectious and she built wonderful relationships with the
students while in our classroom.

Lily Harding was a wonderful novice teacher. We were very lucky to have her for the short time
we did. Having her in our classroom, I witnessed her build rapport with students. She led a small
group in math every day with students that we identified as needing enrichment. Together, we
analyzed NWEA data and classroom data to make a collaborative decision regarding the
students. Lily also uses her knowledge of students to plan for their learning success. She
planned whole group lessons that were creative, engaging, and allowed for student success
while still challenging them and meeting the lesson objective. I was so impressed with her
lessons that I plan on using them in the future! Lily’s classroom management was unlike any I
have ever seen from a novice teacher. I believe this is one of her ​many​ strengths as a teacher.

I could go on and on about her classroom management, knowledge of content, and overall
teaching abilities. Lily Harding is a wonderful teacher that takes the time to genuinely get to
know her students. She was a great teammate and co-teacher to have! I am very pleased to
recommend Lily Harding for this position.
