Dear Hiring Manager,
I am writing to apply for your internship at the Pine Rest Psychological Consultation center. I am
a student at Wayne State University working on my undergraduate degree in Psychology.
I have taken multiple low and high level psychology courses. I have experience interviewing
subjects, coding and analyzing their responses. These skills are easily transferable to the setting
of the consultation center; working with patients, conducting assessments and interpreting the
results.
I have a strong desire to use my education to help people. I feel that at Pine Rest, I could make a
positive impact on the lives of those who truly need it. I look forward to working with the Pine
Rest staff in a clinical setting and gaining valuable experience while helping Pine Rest to
