On behalf of the National Board of Directors and Aramark, I would like to congratulate you on receipt of the Gold
Plate Award. This award recognizes your outstanding commitment to the food service industry and the
community.
The Gold Plate Award includes registration and travelto the NationalCAFP Conference, which in 2016 will be
held in Kananaskis, Alberta from May 11-14,2016. Please confirm your attendance at the National Conference
by contacting the nationaloffice (Telephone 604-2484215;Toll Free 877-599-2237;Fax604-27O-3644; or
email national@cafp.ca.) You will then be registered for the CAFP National Conference. We will contact you to
discuss your travel arrangements.

The National Aramark Gold Plate recipient will be announced at the Student Gold Plate luncheon to be held on
Friday, May 13, 2016. Please join us at this prestigious luncheon to recognize the Student Branch Gold Plate
Recipients from across Canada.
Please also plan to attend the NationalStudent Coordinating meeting on Friday, May 13,2016 at 7:45 am and
the NationalStudent Business Meeting Saturday, May 14,2016 at 10:50 am. AllStudent branch members and
the Professional Branch Liaison Officers and Faculty Advisors are asked to attend ihese meetings to discuss
future direction and address existing challenges. At these meetings, you (and the incoming Branch President or
Executive in attendance) will be asked to report on your past year's activities and plans for the next school year.

You have an important role in the Conference. This is a unique opportunity to network with food service
professionals from across Canada. A complete conference program is available on the website www.cafp.ca,
with information on accommodation and an outline of daily events. lf you have any questions, please call Marc
