This document is a draft resolution of retraction and apology from the Everett School District Board of Directors regarding a previous resolution that falsely accused one of its directors of violating the Open Public Meetings Act. The draft resolution acknowledges that the original accusation was demonstrated to be false by state law, advice from the state Attorney General, and the Board President. It also uses language directly from the original resolution. The draft resolution would publicly retract the false charge and apologize to the director that was wrongly accused.
