Dear Families,

We have been studying community helpers for the past few weeks, and on
Friday, February 15th we will have a Career Day as a culminating project.
We are looking for a variety of people who are interested in talking to our
students about their careers or hobbies. Students are often unaware many
existing opportunities and we would appreciate any and all presentations.

Possible suggestions:

• Parents/family members can present and students can ask questions.

• We can provide books if you choose to do a read-aloud based on your


occupation.

• Parents/family members can do hands-on activities about their career.
