Dear Ms. Larez,

I am submitting this letter regarding the classroom support aide position


opening within your institution at Combs Head Start. I was informed about
this position through the former position holder. I am applying for this
position because I believe it will give me experience and skills that I could
utilize in my future career as an educator. This position is incredibly
important to the functionality of the classroom and in the success of each
student. I find that the classroom support aide is a useful tool to both students
and lead teacher. I believe that if given the opportunity to receive this job, I
would provide not only my best hand in support but also a reliable source of
help to both parties at any time needed.

I believe I am a perfect fit for this position because I have extensive


experience in not only head start classrooms but elementary as well. I am very
familiar with the functionality of a classroom and the procedures needed to
perform successfully. Through volunteer work in a classroom for 5 years, I
have developed a deep understanding of child interaction, proper solutions to
situations, and the high demand of focus and agility that is required. I have
gained a greater amount of skill in interaction with both students and parents,
leadership, and collaborative work with others. As a volunteer at three
different educational institutions, I was in charge of providing lesson plans
that fit all categories of basic child development and following through with
activities and successful outcomes. Through creating lesson plans, I have
become proficient in Google platforms, Microsoft Office and Excel.
I am a very qualified undergraduate student ready to perform any task needed.
