Dear Dr. Dobbs:


I would greatly appreciate being considered for a position as an Elementary School Teacher in the
Twin Falls school district. I have my Associate of Arts Degree in Elementary Education and I am
working towards my Bachelor of Arts Degree currently. Though I am in the beginning of my
certification process, I have had many years of experience with children and education that would
make me a great candidate to teach in your schools.

In my resume, I have outlined the many volunteer programs along with job experience that has led
me to become a teacher. My life has been dedicated to children and their success. I have a passion to
lead and inspire children to love to learn. I have had many opportunities that have placed me in
situations that have helped me develop an understanding of the diverse needs and cultures of
students. Due to these experiences, I have been able to grow and educate myself further on
educating a classroom of children from all different backgrounds.

I am greatly skilled in modifying the way I teach to my students. This allows for a better education
for them while also keeping them interested and eager for their lessons. I am well organized and
structured which will benefit the school setting and helping students to excel with their studies. I
am very passionate on keeping all forms of communication open between parents, school
administrators, and teachers as I feel that together we work to build the child not only in their
education but all other aspects of their life making us a team.

I am looking forward to the chance to sit down and discuss all the different ways I can make a
