Dear [Recipient’s Name],
I am writing to express my interest in the position of Literacy Coach K–12
and/or Schoolwide Behavior Coach PreK–5/K–12. With a strong foundation in
classroom instruction, a passion for inclusive education, and relevant training in
U.S. education systems, I am confident in my ability to contribute positively to
your school community.
As a Grade 6 adviser and subject teacher, I have taught English, MAPEH, and
Mathematics, while tailoring lessons to meet the individual needs of my
students, including those with learning disabilities. I have consistently provided
both academic and behavioral support, addressed classroom challenges with
care, and communicated effectively with parents to ensure student progress.
Beyond the classroom, I have actively taken leadership roles—serving as focal
person for Comprehensive Sexuality Education, a Journalism Trainer, School
Brigada Eskwela Coordinator, and a school magazine writer. My experience
also extends to extracurricular activities, where I’ve taught guitar and coached
lawn tennis.
My recent coursework in U.S. education, behavior management, lesson
planning, and trauma-informed teaching has enriched my perspective and
provided me with strategies aligned with your school’s goals. I am deeply
committed to creating an inclusive, respectful, and engaging learning
environment, and I hope to inspire both students and educators in their growth
and development.
Thank you for considering my application. I would be honored to bring my
experience and dedication to your team. I welcome the opportunity to further
discuss how I can support your school community in a coaching capacity.
Sincerely,
DONITA ROSE A. VILLANUEVA
