Bananice is a banana waffle partnered with ice cream, providing product quality through the use of
fresh ingredients. The mixture is made of flour, egg, butter, sugar, oil, and the banana itself.

Our product is light, fluffy and flat cake made in a waffle maker with a banana mixture. On top is
an ice cream flavor depending on customer’s choice flavor with a chocolate syrup and a toppings.

In addition, our product will benefit our customer’s health because of the nutrients they can get
from the product’s ingredient.

Bananice is located at Sto. Rosario Capas, Tarlac which the area is near to schools, and can easily
locate by any individuals who are interested to our product.

Our customers are from kids to adults who are craving for something sweet with a twist. We ensure
that costumers will be delighted to come back again. Bananice offers a variety of choices which includes
waffle with ice cream and juice. Flavors of our ice cream are chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry.

The company is owned by Chelsca Mhiles Chong with one year experience in marketing.

While there are three business competitions in Sto Rosario Capas, Tarlac, these three only offers
the same product and none offers a unique product that will catch the customers attention.

We expect that our annual sales to our business will increase five percent yearly since the name
become a hit little by little.

III. GENERAL COMPANY DESCRIPTION

Bananice is a start-up food manufacturing business which sells banana waffle partnered with ice
cream, the ice cream comes in different flavors. This product is not just an ordinary waffle you see in
other stores for it has banana added in its recipe which makes it healthy and nutritious to eat. Waffle and
ice cream are also well-loved by everyone especially to the millennials, and it can be serve anytime of
the day.

Moreover, the business creates a unique, innovative, entertaining menu to suit everyone’s taste. It
provides an excellent and friendly customer service to maintain the ambience of fun, energetic and
youthful lifestyle.

Mission:

To provide our costumer a high quality product but a friendly budget and to satisfy their cravings
for sweets with a twist.

Vision:

To become well-known around the community providing the highest quality waffle and services at

Bananice will be regulated as sole proprietorship, wholly owned and operated by the person who
made this business possible to build where she went through a lot to fully learn and understand the
happenings in business world and how to successfully manage a business.

Our target customers will be students, employees and others that passes by our store which is located
at Sto. Rosario, Capas, Tarlac where everyone can relax, enjoy the surrounding and have a peaceful
alone time or time with loved ones.

Products:

Bananice sells waffle with a mixture of banana and a variety of ice cream flavors such as chocolate,
vanilla, and strawberry. We also believe that the price of our product is budget friendly compared to our
competitors. Despite of having a low selling price, we assure you that bananice produce a high quality
product.

Service:

Bananice employees will be serving the costumers that will reach their satisfaction. We will also be
offering a discount that will depend on the occasions. During our anniversary aside from discount we
will also be giving freebies when they come to our store.

B. CONSUMER SALE RELATION

As we aim for our business to be well-known, we will encourage people to try our products, and for our
valid customers, we will be giving them discounts, tokens, and loyalty card wherein in loyalty card,
they should collect a total of 10 stickers in order to get a freebie. They can get this stickers upon
purchasing some of our products.

C. DIGITAL MARKET

Since most of us are using social media, we are creating social media accounts such as facebook page,
instagram, and twitter account where they can see updates regarding discounts and other promotional
activities. They can also share our updates to others so that they can also avail freebies.

Promotional Budget

To promote our products we will be using fliers, brochures and tarpaulins which will cost us atleast Php
5,000. Fliers and brochures will be distributed around capas area as well as the tarpaulins. Meanwhile,
for our promotion online, it will cost us nothing since social media can be use for free.

Pricing

Our business utilizes the based cost within every product in terms of ingredients that will be affordable.
Compare to our other competitors like McDonalds and Jollibee our product price is lower. We made
sure that our price will be lower than our competitors since it is the preference of our target customer.

Proposed Location

The proposed location for the Bananice store will be along the Capas area. Two possible stores are
being considered. First is on goodlord computer shop, and the other possible is on rainbow sip.

Our store will need approximately 15 square meter which the both sites can offer.

The store will be located to a place that is very accessible for the people especially to our target
customers which are students. Likewise, it is not hassle to come to our store because the place is not
crowded. Also, we ensure the cleanliness of our place for our customer’s preferences.

Besides the students, most of our customers will also be the employees who wants to relax first before
going home or before they start working.

The business will operate from Monday to Sunday, and hours of operation will depend on the final

Distribution system will be direct selling where the product or service goes directly to the customers.

VI. OPERATIONAL PLAN

Bananice will operate from Monday to Sunday. For Monday to Saturday it will open 8:00 am in the
morning unto 8:00 in the evening. Meanwhile, every Sunday our store is only from 8:00 am – 3:00 pm
in the afternoon.

Website Maintenance

When it comes to our websites on Facebook and Instagram account, we will always update them by
posting the changes and what are the latest in our products, through this the customers will not be
outdated instead, they are fully informed about the happenings in our store.

Production

Bananice will provide fresh and quality products for the customers. Since we are using banana and ice
cream, the production will be done in the store where our products are being sold, to maintain the
freshness of the bananas and to avoid the rapid melting of the ice cream.

Moreover, the store will ensures a good customer service such as listening or dealing with customers'
complaints and being nice and friendly to them.

In order to develop our product, we will provide new flavors. We will also engage on our customers by

Our store is located at Eden Wall Bldg. Sto. Cristo st., Sto. Rosario, Capas, Tarlac near the schools
and church where people pass by especially students and employees.

We will build Bananice store in the best location possible, as we believe that it is one of the key for
successful operation.

Legal Environment

In order for our business to be accountable and operate legally, we went in different government
agencies for our registration.

First, we registered our business name at Department of Trade and Industry to make sure that our
business name is not similar to others. After that, we fill-up the Business Name (BN) Application Form
and waited for our DTI Certificate of Registration.

After acquiring the DTI Certificate of Registration, we proceed to the Barangay Hall of Brgy. Sto
Rosario because that is where our business is located. We filled-up the application form and submit it
together with some requirements. After that, we claimed our Barangay Certificate of Registration and
then went to the Mayor's Office for our Business Permit and Licenses. We secured and filled-up the
application form and then claimed our Mayor's Business Permit and Licenses.

After getting all the certificate and permits from DTI and LGUs, we registered to the Bureau of
Internal Revenue (BIR).
