Indian First Bike Racer: Alisha Abdullah (-)

Alisha Abdullah is the first Indian woman to win a national racing championship. She became the first woman in India to exceed 190 mph on a motorcycle, finishing third overall in a 2009 competition. Abdullah often led races in pole positions, and at one point was considered the second best motorcycle racer in India among both men and women. Inspired by her father, who knew motorcycle racing well and could advise her, Abdullah took up motorcycle racing due to its lower financial cost compared to formula car racing.
