Where to stay in Cagbalete Island?

There are a lot of resorts in Cagbalete Island. Once you are already in the Local
Tourism Office, you can select from the resorts that can accommodate you. Or if you
have your own tents, no need to reserve for rooms or cottages.

Last holy week, we stayed in Pansacola Beach Resort. It’s resort you will first see
once you reach the island. Furthermore, it has the longest shoreline for you swim and
beachbum.

Entrance Fee is 300/person/night if you have tent with you. But you can contact them
through their Facebook Page for more details.

What to bring in Cagbalete Island?

You can buy raw food (fish, chicken, pork for grilling) in Mauban before you go to
the island. There’s no market in the island just few sari-sari stores. Water and cooked
rice are both expensive.

Here’s our Total Expenses (food not included):

If you take the passenger boat, the rate per person would be less than 1000 pesos only.
We opted for the private boat since we didn’t caught the last trip of the passenger
boat.

It was peak season when we went to Cagbalete that’s why the place seemed to be so
crowded. But definitely, it is a must visit place if you are going to Quezon province or
if you want to check new beach destination near Metro Manila.
