Psychological
The definition of psychological is the affecting of, or arising in the mind, related to the
mental and emotional state of a person. People can also have psychological problems including,
clinical depression, which is a mental health disorder characterized by persistently depressed
mood or loss of interest in activities, causing significant impairment in daily life. There is also
anxiety disorder, which is a mental health disorder characterized by feelings of worry, anxiety, or
fear that are strong enough to interfere with one's daily activities. Next is bipolar disorder and it
is a disorder associated with episodes of mood swings ranging from depressive lows to manic
highs. There is also schizophrenia and it is a disorder that affects a person's ability to think, feel,
and behave clearly. Last, post-traumatic stress disorder and it is a condition of persistent mental
and emotional stress occurring as a result of injury or severe psychological shock, typically
involving disturbance of sleep and constant vivid recall of the experience, with dulled responses
to others and to the outside world.
Most psychological problems affect the brain and how it functions daily. It could also
affect how a person interacts with others. How people help psychological problems is going to
different types of therapies. They can also get different types of medications; the medications
will help with their type of disorder they have, but it won't cure what they have. Studies have
shown that different types of medications are the best way to help people who have
psychological disorders be around people.

Some people also study psychology, which is the scientific study of the mind and
behavior. Psychology is a multifaceted discipline and includes sub-fields of study such as human
development, sports, health, clinical, social behavior and cognitive processes. These are the
people who take care of the people with the different types of disorders.
I chose PowerPoint because I am familiar with the website and how to use it. I set up the
handout for the audience like so you can read it and understand everything from my power point,
and how to relate this term to your book. I will prepare for my presentation by reading it often
and trying to get over my nerves of reading in front of people.
