Ruqya Bath
Posted by Abu Haroon on 3 Apr, 2012
R uqya baths are a very effective way to weaken the effects of Sihr. These baths should be a
key part of your treatment. You have to motivate yourself and make the effort to take these
baths, no one else can force you to do it so it’s up to you to push yourself and build up your
resolve and will power. From experience, we can tell you that these baths are VERY worthwhile
and are definitely worth the time and effort. Don’t ignore them or take them lightly!!
Remember, all cures and healing are from Allah so make dua asking for Him to cure you through
the baths and make dua as regularly as possible.
Here is a video where a sister has kindly uploaded a video describing how to make the Ruqya
Bath
There are a few different ways to make the Ruqya bath but they are near enough the same. The
ingredients below may vary from the ones mentioned in the video above, you can choose to do
either.
Ingredients:
1. Saffron – 3 pinches
2. Sidr (lote tree) leaves. 7 leaves, or 7 pinches if you have it in powder form
3. 3 table spoons of Apple cider vinegar
4. Dead sea salt (coarse, not powdered)
5. Orange blossom water
6. Rosewater
7. 1 litre of Water
-You can get most of these ingredients from a ‘middle eastern’ or ‘ethnic foods’ store. The Sidr
leaves can be a little tricky, as in you cant always find them on the high street so you’re best bet
is to try an Islamic book shop or ‘middle eastern’ store.
Method
All of the ingredients that you have should be recited upon or ‘blessed’. You can either recite
upon the ingredients individually in their own bottles or you can put the ingredients into a bowl
and recite upon the mixed ingredients. It’s better if you can recite upon them each time when you
have put the ingredients into the bowl as the recitation is more effective [1]
1. Put all of the ingredients into a bowl.
2. Recite the following:
1. Surah Al Fatiha x 7
2. Surah Al Baqarah, ayahs 1-5
3. Surah Al Baqarah ayah 102 x 7
4. Surah Al Baqarah ayahs 255-257
5. Surah Al Baqarah ayah 284-287
6. Surah Al A’raf, 117 – 122
7. Surah Taha, 65-69
8. Surah Al Yunus, 79-82
9. The three Quls (Al-Ikhlas, Al-Falaq, An-Naas) x 3
3. Blow into the bowl – if you’re able to, it’s good if you can get some spittle into the bowl
when you blow, try it by ‘wettening’ your lips with your salivah. Otherwise, just blowing
onto it will suffice
4. Take a small amount of Apple cider vinegar and massage it into your head, enough to
cover your scalp/hair.
5. Fill up your bath with warm water from the tap as you would if you were having a normal
bath. Pour the contents of the bowl/ingredients into the bath. Sit in the bath for 30
minutes and submerge yourself as much as you can in the water.
6. After some time, 10/20 minutes, Take the bowl and pour the water over your head at least
three times or as much as possible. This will wash out the cider vinegar from your hair.
After the bath, pat yourself dry but do not have a shower or wash off with soap afterwards – just
pat yourself dry and leave it over night. You can have a shower in the morning inshaAllah. This
is the best and most effective method. If you have followed these instructions you will see a
difference inshaAllah.
Make sure you are continuing with your daily habits such as praying on time and doing the
morning and evening words of remembrance and before you sleep.
Daily habits – Words of Remembrance
ADVICE
You may hesitate to get into the bath – this is shaytaan doing his utmost to put doubts in your
mind and put you off doing the bath as, by Allah’s will, it will weaken and hurt them. If you feel
yourself hesitating or doubting, say ‘Bismillah’ and go forth. Don’t think about it, just go ahead
and do it, inshaAllah
It is possible that you may feel like you are in pain and that the bath is causing you pain. This is
actually a GOOD sign because this is your body healing inshaAllah. If you don’t feel pain or
anything else, this is also a good sign, continue with the bath.
HOW OFTEN?
Do the baths for seven days in a row. Don’t falter – be strong in your resolve and have
confidence that Allah will help you through the recitation and the Ruqya which you have done
onto the bath. After seven days you should continue with the bath as often as possible but at least
once every two days. The more you do it the better.
Where did we get these ‘Ruqya Baths’ from??
The baths have been prescribed by a few experts in the field that strictly practice according to the
Qur’an and authentic Sunnah. The ingredients used int he bath are known be be repulsive to
shayateen (mailicious jinn) and weakens and hurts them. Furthermore, we have recited over the
ingredients + water and used them to convey the recitation of the ayahs we have read with the
sincere intention that we ask Allah (glory be to Him) to cure us through the recitation and the
bath. We must be clear of mind that these ingredients are powerless, Allah SWT is the source of
all power and cures and we ask Him alone to cure us. Please see footnotes below.
Footnotes
[1] – “The conveyance of water is actually the conveyance of the recitation. Ruqya is conveyed
by blowing, breathing, or emitting saliva into water, which the sick person then drinks or pours
over themselves. There is no harm in this due to the fact that the salaf did it and it was not
condemned and also because it has a basis in the Sunnah. However, the more direct the ruqya is,
the better and stronger its effect wil be. This is why our grandfather, Shaikh Muhammad bin
Ibraheem, may Allah have mercy on him said: “the lesser the time-span os, the more effective
the cure will be”
-This has been taken from the book ‘The Rules and Etiquettes of Ruqya’ by Shaikh Saalih bin
‘Abdil-’Azeez Ali Shaikh (a student of ‘Adbul-’Azeez bin Baaz, rahimahullah)
YOUR FORMULA FOR BEATING BLACK MAGIC
Assalam alaikum wa rahmatullah wa barakatuh [May Allah's peace, mercy and blessing be with
you]
Here is your solution and method for beating black magic, inshaAllah. We have devised this
based on experience, research and advice from experts in the field. This is your SURE WAY to
see results that will lead you to the cure inshAllah. We will briefly list the three elements that
consist of the formula for beating black magic and then go into further discussions of each
element with the aid of articles and videos.
The Cure, in a nutshell
Here’s a brief outline of what you need in order to beat Sihr (magic):
1. TAWHEED
The backbone to the cure & seeing improvements in the quality of your life. In order to weaken
the effects of Sihr and break it, we need to boost our emaan (faith) and get closer to our Creator.
We need to understand who He is and that is the originator of the universe and all creatures. He
is all-wise, all-powerful. No harm can touch a person unless he gives permission for it to happen
and no remedy or medication or treatment has any effect except that he wills it. We therefore
must understand that all of our acts of worship and supplications should be directed to him
alone. All of this is tawheed, it is the core and foundation of Islam. If we are not directing our
worship to Him and seeking His help then we are not following the way of His Messenger
(pbuh) as this is the Message that he came to deliver. God willing, we will help you get closer to
Allah (glory be to Him) by helping you learn more about Him through reminders and short
videos. We will be posting links to some emaan boosting lectures and videos which all of us
need once in a while!
2. TREATMENT AND PRACTISE according to AUTHENTIC SOURCES – THE
QUR’AN AND SUNNAH
It is from the wisdom of Allah (glory be to Him) that he has created man and placed him in
distress and fatiguing situations, and made the life of this world a place of hardship so he may be
purified of his sins and raising his status and rank in the hereafter.
We all have tests in our lives and this affliction of Sihr is also test. With any test we can either be
successful by being patient and responding to it in a manner that is pleasing to Allah (glory be to
Him) or we can waste this opportunity by displeasing him and by falling into the traps if
shaytaan such as despair and impatience. It is very important that we turn this test into a blessing
for us and a means to get closer to Him. How disastrous is it that we suffer with this affliction
and we end up neither benefiting from it in our lives or the hereafter – that’s a lose-lose situation.
We can turn it into a win-win inshaAllah, by following the authentic sources (the Qur’an &
Sunnah) which are Truth from our creator. We need to seek treatment for this and other problems
in the teachings and actions of The Messenger (pbuh) as his is the best example. We sincerely
want you to come through this test with dignity and a HUGE mountain of rewards and
forgiveness that will be waiting for you in the hereafter inshaAllah.
3. PATIENCE & CONSISTENCY
What someone you know might tell you – “I know such and such a guy that will cure you in one
day.”
The reality – There’s no ‘Quick Fix’! Of course, if Allah wills, he can cure you in a second. In
our experience, this is rare and it usually takes time. It can take days, months, years, or if Allah
wills, you may never get cured (this is rare) – this is the will of Allah and he is the best of
planners. We need to be patient and consistent with our daily habits that we need to develop. It’s
easy for me to write this, I know, but you must motivate yourself and be strict with yourself with
things that will help you get better. Most people that are afflicted with Sihr need to change things
in their lives, they need to build certain habits and be relentless in their remembering Allah.
Essentially, we need to be practising Muslims! something that every muslim should be doing,
afflicted or not! That’s why this test is a blessing for many people. We have seen many people
come closer to Allah (glory be to Him) and become practising Muslims through this test as this is
indeed the cure & prevention!

We’ll be discussing the above items in more detail inshaAllah. Keep checking in with us and if

Mental Blocks & Disorientation
Posted by Umm Yaseen on 21 Apr, 2016 in Articles | Comments Off
Mental blocks and disorientation are some of the immobilizing effects of sihr and Jinn
possession.
Some afflicted brothers and sisters suffer from momentary mental
blocks, brain fog or disorientation.
They become airheaded, lose touch with reality and confused. You
may not be aware of it, it could happen while you are conversing
with them.
When it happens they most probably won’t be able to grasp or carry
out any instructions or tasks given.
When it happens it is foolish to overload the person with information
and instructions. They are not going to be able to absorb much of
what you are saying. Please bear this in mind and be patient with
them until it passes.
Do not look down on them and think they are stupid/dopey, slow,
unintelligent, or tell people they have a chameleon like character.
Furthermore, you don’t know what mental and physical
terror/torture the Jinn afflicts on them. Displaying a chameleon like
character, or having a random and temporary speech and writing
constraint could be the after-effect of an attack.
So be kind, be wise and don’t make wrong assumptions.
Wait until the mental block passes and they are back to their
intelligent and focused self. You can then resume directing and
assisting them in helping themselves to recovery.
SELF RUQYA:
After you have diagnosed yourself using practical self ruqya part 1 video, you should do self
ruqya treatment using Surah Falaq and Nas with the 7 intentions as described in the article above
‘why are you doing self ruqya’.
Do the self ruqya for a total of 1 hour a day. (20 mins in the morning, 20 mins in the afternoon &
20 mins in the evening). If you can do more than an hour a day that would be better. THE
MINIMUM IS ONE HOUR!
RUQYA SOUP:
You should get the following ingredients (see below) and add them to an electric blender and
mix them into a paste and then read ruqya over the paste using Surah Falaq and Nas with the 7
intentions. You should take 5 tablespoonfuls of this paste and add to a bath tub of cool water and
soak for 15 minutes. Do this bath 3 times a week. You should also add a teaspoon of this paste
into a bottle of olive oil and shake well. This oil and ruqya soup paste mixture can be used after a
bath or throughout the day.
JET HIJAMA TREATMENT:
Once a month you should get the JET hijama treatment done, preferably on the 17, 19 or 21 of
the Islamic month. Please refer to the JET article above.
