Abstract
Job Search and Recruitment Portal
The aim of this project is to develop a Portal for the Job seekers and the recruiters
who are struggling in their lives for finding the right jobs and the right candidate.
Now-a-days, securing positions in organizations that best suits the job seeker’s
interests and skill set is a very challenging task. The challenges emerge from not
having legitimate information on the organization’s goal, their work culture and
current job openings. In addition, recruiters are also struggling for finding the right
candidate with desired knowledge for filling the current job openings in the
organization. In this case or situation, Job Search and Recruitment Portal is the best
option for Job seekers as well as for the recruiters so that the Job seekers can search
the jobs which suits according to their interests and skill set without roaming place to
place and also recruiters can choose the right candidate for their organization by
sitting on their on place.
This web application on Job search and recruitment provides the easy way for both
job seeker and the employer. Through this portal, job seekers can apply for any job
which suits them according to their interests. No matter that job seeker is from which
background. The only thing that the job seeker is to do register on the website, and
after registration they have to complete their profiles by filling their educational
details, work experience details, uploading resumes, etc. so that the recruiters can also
approach them if they have any openings in their organization. Job seeker can search
for available jobs and can apply for that. On the other hand, Employers can register on
the website, post the jobs if they have any current openings. They can see the resumes
or applications of Job applicants and can screen them or interview them if their
knowledge and qualification best suits the organization’s need.

1. INTRODUCTION
This project on Job Search and Recruitment Portal is designed and developed for
those Job seekers who are struggling for finding the best jobs which suits their skill
set. Although they have extreme knowledge and highly qualified but did not able to
get a good job and this is because they do not know the working culture of the
organization, do not have any information about current openings in an organization
and sometimes because of their resumes. They do not know how to make a proper
resume. So this portal helps the Job seekers in finding the job that suits them also
provide the facility for making resume easily only by providing information. In
addition, this Portal helps to recruiters because if a job seeker is struggling for finding
the good job then at that point the recruiters are also struggling for finding the right
candidate for the organization. So this portal helps recruiters that they can post the
current openings and can who have applied for which post and screen them the
desired candidate.
1.1 Purpose
The main purpose of this project is to provide a platform where Job seekers can find
the right jobs without roaming place to place and recruiters can also find the right
candidate for the organization. If a Job seeker wants a good job then on the other hand
a recruiter also wants a talented candidate. Only the problem is that of communication
gap. So the purpose of this project is to provide a platform which works as a mediator
between the Job seeker and the recruiter. Everyone either experienced or a fresher
wants a good opportunity to grow but are unaware of the desired job openings.
