Assignment Title: Q3 mid-unit essay


Student Writing Goal: My goal is to use better word choices and tenses in my essay, so I can do better in future
essays.

Instructions:
1) Re-read the paper (and teacher feedback).
2) Complete this reflection sheet.
3) Revise the paper accordingly and highlight any changes.
4) Submit the revision and this reflection sheet.

What was the purpose of this writing assignment?


The purpose of this essay is to explain what has led to Macbeth’s downfall. Each student will share their
opinion weather its Macduff himself, the weird sisters, or Lady Macbeth is what lead to Macbeth’s downfall.
Once we chose we need to show examples from the play and ask why this causing Macbeth’s downfall is. We
have to use some solid quotes to show what is really going on in the play.

How did you perform in relation to the expectations of the writing rubric?
I, saw I did good on my essay according to the expectations of the writing rubric, however I have managed to
miss some things expecting to be added on the essay

What aspect of this piece did you do well? (give example/quotes to support claims)
I did really good in terms of how the paragraph is structured, the use of the MLA format, and the flow of the
entire essay making it a quite good essay.

Why have you/haven’t you chosen to revise this writing assignment?


I have chosen to revise my essay because there are errors that needed to be fixed. There is capitalization
errors, tense errors, and a weak word throughout the entire essay.

What will you do better in your next writing assignment, and how will I do it?
In my next essay I will be more cautious on what I write on my essay by rereading it before submitting which
is something I never done before

To what degree of success did you achieve your previously stated goal(s)?
I am partially successful as I have manage to do some write at the same time did some things wrong.
