Roles & Responsibilities-
Having good exposure of design standard of instrumentation Engineering.
Study of P&ID and preparation of instrument index, Input/output list, loop diagram & MTO.
Preparation of General Technical Specification and data sheet of instruments, equipments, panels,
cables, cable tray, junction box etc.
Preparation of General layout of control room, cables and cable tray layout, JB grouping,
interconnection drawing termination details etc.
Preparation of Hook up drawing, calculation of bulk material based on the hook up drawing.
Preparation of instrument cable schedule, Power & Control cable schedule.
Preparation of technical enquiry, review of vendor offer’s, technical meeting and discussion with
vendor’s for the technical bid evolution vendor’s.
Discussion and design, preparation, finalization, review & approval of documents of PLC
specification, SCADA hardware, software and IO List.
Review and approval of suppliers documents of PLC architectures drawing, datasheets, GA &
wiring diagram, IO list, load list, FAT procedure etc.
Review of PLC & SCADA BOM required for project systems.
Prepare and review control philosophy of packages.
Inspection of PLC panel and SCADA software as per various projects requirement (FAT & SAT).
Attend technical discussions with client, consultant and interdepartmental design engineers /
team members.
Leading automation engineers to develop application software by providing detailed task
breakdown for PLCs, SCADA & DCS system and ensure the standardization is being adhered to.
Coordination with client, consultant and internal management for project risk mitigation.
Overseeing execution of instruments & systems and troubleshooting of problems arising during
execution and thereafter.
Visit to Project site to support Site Team during commissioning of Plant.
