RESOLUTION NO. 04 S. 2018

RESOLUTION APPROVING THE BARANGAY DISASTER RISK REDUCTION AND


MANAGEMENT PLAN OF BARANGAY CAMPOSANTO 1 NORTE MONCADA, TARLAC
FOR THE PERIOD 2018-2020.

WHEREAS, Republic Act 10121, otherwise known as”PhilippineDisaster Risk Reduction


Management Act of 2010” empowers Local Government Units and its component barangays to
provide mitigating and preventive programs, prepare to disaster /calamities /crisis/ complex
emergencies,and attend to relief and rehabilitation work through a Barangay Disaster Risk
Reduction Management Plan(BDRRMP) for the period 2018-2020;

WHEREAS, the Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction Management Committee (BDDRRC)


compromised of barangay officials, functionaries, sectoral representatives and other stakeholders
formulated Programs/Projects and Activities (PPA’s) in accordance with the Preventive/
Mitigation/Preparedness ,Response and Relief/Rehabilitation pillars of Disaster Risk Reduction
and Management;
WHEREAS, the BDRRMC consolidated the foregoing programs, projects and activities into a
Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction Management Plan that is consistent with the identified hazards
and vulnerabilities in the locality;

NOW THEREFORE, premises considered, on motion by Ernesto R. Cruz Jr. and unanimously
seconded;

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, TO APPROVE THE BARANGAY DISASTER RISK


REDUCTION AND MANAGEMENT PLAN OF BARANGAY CAMPOSANTO 1 NORTE,
MUNICIPALITY OF MONCADA FOR THE PERIOD 2018-2020

RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this Resolution be furnished all concerned for their
information and guidance.
